"A Jazzy Time Of Year" is Andréa's annual Christmas show that she has been producing since 2009. The most exciting part about it is that each year the theme varies; from flamenco, choral and traditional, bluesy, New Orleans style to anything in between featuring different guest artists. A Jazzy Time of Year is never the same and always so much fun!!
The concept for "A Jazzy Time of Year" came about simply for the love of Christmas and seasonal music, and the joy it gives to audiences of all ages and musical tastes. Also, because the possibilities for musical arrangements are endless!!
On a yearly basis, the instrumentation and stylistic theme differs, however, in the past the core group has remained constant which has included Stefano Valdo on bass, Robin Tufts on drums/percussion and Frank Rackow on saxophones. Past musicians and guest artists include: Vocal Latitudes Choir, John Hyde, Ihor Kolomijchuk, Allan Merovitz, Steve Pineo, Nynne Collins and Holly Blazina.
